I have a planner addiction.
There, I’ve said it.
Oh wait, you already knew?
You and the whole world!
Ok so I have a problem collecting planners. I love to open them and see the calendars so fresh and clean, and then cover them in ink and stickers. Therefore, when the Michael’s brand Recollections planners went on sale I decided to add one to my collection. Of course then I bought the year insert pages. Problem is, I also have a bit of OCD so using just three months of the entire year of planner pages seemed so wrong to me. How could I split them up? (Imagine hubby’s eye roll here.)
So I got to work with my computer and designed a basic set of planner pages sized for the Recollections planner. Print double-sided and cut out. Easy peasy.
But so boring.
I pulled the pages into my Silhouette software for some spiffing up!
Please excuse the orange boxes. I didn’t think to take a picture until AFTER I had filled in some appointments.
The pumpkin background and clip art came from the Silhouette store. I changed the colors a bit and added Month and Year in fonts I liked. Now we’re talking! Here is the weekly.
I designed the weekly in a horizontal layout mainly because I had never tried one before. This planner is not for my “everyday around the house/business” planning. This one is an “on the go keep track of dwindling free time” type of planner. Again I used a background from the Silhouette store and stickers from Michael’s. Except the game night sticker. That was clip art from Silhouette as well.
Here are the other months as well.
It’s tempting to go through all the work to design a whole year of pages with my art. But, I’m not sure I will find the time to complete them all, nor if there is much interest, especially with the arrival of the new Happy Planner mini. If I do it will be added to my store by the years end.
In the mean time, free templates! Print, cut in half, enjoy!
